1. How many Fascia Brackets do I need for my Cast Iron Guttering ?
We recommend 2 Fascia Brackets for each 1.8m / 6ft length set out evenly 600mm apart
2. How do my Cast Iron Gutters fit together ?
The Gutters have a male & female end and lock together using a Nut, Bolt and Washer.
3. Do I need to buy the Nuts Bolts and Washers ?
The Gutters are supplied with all the Nuts Bolts and Washers you need for jointing and are included in the price
4. What about attaching the Gutters and Brackets to the Fascia Boards?
We have a small range of screws & nails to purchase on the site but because of the vast range of requirements you may need to source them separately
5. How do my Cast Iron Downpipes fit together ?
The Cast Iron Downpipes have a male and female end and are made to slot neatly together but we recommend that you use a standard sealant available on the site to ensure a durable and stable finish.
6. Can I paint the Gutters myself ?
We do supply the Guttering in a Primed finish for you to paint yourself but as it only takes an extra day we recommend that you choose your cast iron guttering to be professionally painted in house to ensure the very best long lasting finish
7. Do the Nails and Spikes for the Rise & Fall Brackets come painted ?
All Nails and Spikes are not painted on delivery to allow for secure fixing and are to be painted during or after installation.
8. What make is your Cast Iron Guttering ?
It is made by Britannia Cast Iron Guttering who have been manufacturing in the UK over 30 years
9. Is your Cast Iron Guttering good quality ?
Our Guttering is of top quality and meets BRITISH STANDARD BS460:2002.
10. Can you use your Cast Iron Guttering for Listed properties ?
The Cast Iron Guttering uses traditional castings and is used in English Heritage and Conservation Projects across the country
11. Do you offer any discounts ?
